Week 14 - Super Doppler 2005

I rented a doppler from Baby Beat a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to hear the heartbeat off and on since then. Finally, today we heard it! The rental company claims you can hear the heartbeat at around 10-12 weeks, and clearly that wasn't the case with me.



The unit I rented is called the Advanced Technology BabyBeat with Recorder (BB150A), and it costs about $30/month. It is nice to know baby is ok when you have so few doctor appointments and you can't feel him moving yet. It comes with some equipment that allows the heartbeat to be recorded and downloaded onto your PC. It requires no skill at all, just a little patience.
